I had the worst experience of my hospital visits today! I had to make a follow up about a disorder. I was asked to refer to the Malacca specialist unit for further medical check up. First I suppose to get my appointment 1 month after my first injection, but the Malacca General hospital delayed it for 1 week of the suppose date. That’s not so bad, excusable, because of a big number of patients to attend to. But today, unforgivable! I had to wake up at 7am for an 8am appointment, reach the Hospital around 15minutes early so that I can get my injections asap and get going for my class at 11am. I even had a quiz that I had to prepare for, but when I got there and talk to the attendant, he like almost ignored me, but when I asked him the second time about my appointment he reply me blankly, leave it in the basket. My appointment is at 8am but the 1st patient that walked in at 9am. Damn I was mad.
Pity my roommate had to wake up early in the morning just to fetch me to visit the doctor. Ok about the doctor, I say morning and bla bla bla about my problems, and wanted to have my second injection, “she said this hospital doesn’t give injections, we only give cream to apply on it”. Then I ask, “I was asked to refer to this Malacca general hospital for further injection, so how?” she replied, “the problem I having can be caused by other factors like dandruff or stress. I was like what the hell in Ipoh they confirmed for me I having alopecia, y now she wants to start from scratch. So the doctor assign me some cream and ask me to come back to photo my head to c the progress of hair growth, by than I was pissed.
After that I had a counseling where the nurse giving me advice that I should grow my hair longer so I can cover the areas that are a bit spaced, and what the medicine can do and stuff… In my heart ‘holly crap I never going to set my foot again in the hospital’. Finally out of the counseling room, see see my roommate sleeping at the waiting area… We both came back cursing the hospital. The services are really bad, the entire attendant are not friendly and look half dead. I don’t know how the Malacca people can still survive with a hospital with such terrible service.

I’m not surprised. My brother died there.
That’s why there are Pantai Specialist Centre and Makhota Medical Centre in Malacca. Don’t mention the Putra or something hospital.. don’t look convincing to me.
